Explosion-proof natural gas compressor plant with standard
gas motor drive

By using a gastight bulkhead shaft passage it is possible to separate the explosion-proof compressor room from the non-hazardous gas motor room.
This allows using a low-cost standard gas motor of non-hazardous design to
drive the compressor!
The driving equipment basically consists of:
the gas motor – the gastight shaft passage – a hydraulic coupling – a reduction gear and the compressor.

When consequently observing economy of space, it is possible to group all auxiliary units such as gas cooler, closed cooling water system, safety devices as well as all process measuring and control field devices within a soundproofed steel container.

The compact plant with central connections is designed for an outside installation and reduces mounting efforts on site to a minimum thus allowing operation at different places of application.
